This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The bottom has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
So it's 2am. And I'm bored. Yay. Um....yeah, so....JOURNAL TIME!
I visited two colleges this past weekend: Southern Methodist University and the University of Texas at Dallas. Both have great campuses, and both have great programs that I'm interested in. But I'm also seriously considering Washington University in St. Louis. Of course, I have no guarantee that I'll get into SMU or Wash U. UTD is a given. I'm graduating from a public Texas HS in the top 8% of my class, and UTD is a state university. So I get automatic acceptance, according to my school. Which is pretty cool. Even if I don't get into Wash U or SMU, I still have an awesome school that I'm guaranteed to get into. So, effectively, there's no way for me to lose.
The future is kind of daunting. I mean, after this year, I'll be in college. And then what? The real world. I don't know how to survive in the real world. I exist in my asterous world of fandoms and the internet. (Yes, I said asterous. Go watch Young Justice.) But I think I'll manage. Hopefully. If I'm lucky, my comic book company will be able to take off within the next year or so. We're working on our first story, actually. And, don't worry, I'm not drawing it. As evidenced by my work on here, I am not an artist of any sort. I just write the stories. That's my thing: words. Words are powerful. They are my medium. They allow me to paint pictures of other worlds and other lives led by people far more interesting than me.
Well, I'm watching Sherlock, so I'd probably get back to that. I have waaaay too many Sherlockian and Whovian friends that will kill me if I don't watch both. Sherlock is shorter, so I'm going to get through all of it first and then start on Doctor Who. Perhaps I'll be able to make a dent into the beginning of New Who by Christmas, if I'm lucky.
